Scores of Moroccan citizens participated in a massive march staged in the city of Casablanca in solidarity with the Aqsa Mosque and in protest at Israel's persistent violations against the Islamic holy sites.
The protest took place on Friday at the invitation of several grassroots organizations in Casablanca city, PIC reported.
Some of the banners carried during the rally condemned Israel's violations at the Aqsa Mosque and the passive Arab role in protecting the Mosque.
In Turkey, civil institutions and activists also organized on the same day similar massive protests in support of the Aqsa Mosque in the cities of Usak and Antalya.
The participants chanted slogans and carried banners demanding the Muslim world to act to defend their Aqsa Mosque and denouncing Israel's aggressive practices against the Palestinians and the holy city of Jerusalem.
